The short version

MrBudgeting.com is a free set of budgeting tools that run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store or process any personal financial data. The numbers you enter into the calculators never leave your device.

What data we collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information through the tools themselves. The only data collected is standard analytics data — things like which pages were visited, how long a session lasted, and what type of device was used. This is collected in aggregate and cannot be used to identify you.

We do not run user accounts, contact forms that store submissions, or any other mechanism that would capture personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics purposes only (see the Analytics section below). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to build advertising profiles. If you disable cookies in your browser, the tools will still work exactly as expected.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. This collects anonymised data such as page views, session duration, device type and approximate location (country or region level). Google Analytics uses cookies and may process data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

MrBudgeting.com may display advertising through Google AdSense. If AdSense is active, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit here and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance. Opting out means you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised to your interests.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party. We never have and we have no intention of doing so.

Third-party links

The site may contain links to external websites. Once you follow a link to another site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

If we make any meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not notify you directly, so check back here if you want to stay up to date.
